Just blocks away from the Terry Peak ski area. Summit Trails Lodge also sits on ATV trails heading to Cheyenne Crossing and Spearfish Canyon. At the base of the mountain, you can get on the Mickelson trail to walk or ride a bike. Go further north through the old west town of Deadwood and enjoy a plethora of high-quality restaurants, shops, and gambling saloons.

GETTING AROUND
The road up to Terry Peak is a well-kept paved road. The gravel starts at the ski resort and goes about three blocks to the cabin. In wintertime, a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. The Terry Valley neighborhood is just minutes away from Lead, 6 miles from Deadwood, and 18 miles from Sturgis. Cab services are available to the cabin, and services pick up and drop off regularly. The paved road at the base of the mountain Hwy 14 will take you anywhere in the hills you need to be.
